Splinder

Chi sono Once I made a quilt.
While I was looking at the scraps, I remembered of persons, events… as if each patch had a history of its own to tell.
I began to sew. Apparently different colours, totally different patterns and prints, everything was sewn in one quilt.
The quilt was ready. And what a beautiful one!
And I thought: each of us was created different.
No one is like any other. No repetition, no monotony. And it’s not just a physical matter: each of us thinks in a different way, feels in a different way, behaves in a different way.
Each one completes the other. Each one stands by the other.
What a wonderful thing is such a quilt, made of such different beings, making humankind.
Why should I ask for a world where everyone is the same, thinks the same, feels the same? I’m but a patch in this great quilt. I make this Creation beautiful in a special way.
Other ones make other colours, other patterns.
When you've sewn them all together, they'll be the most beautiful quilt:
the World.
